Interesting stuff on Mary and the Eucharist. And, it raises another thought: I recall hearing a homiletics professor complain that, ever since the first rocket launches, it's been difficult to come up with a meaningful sermon on the Ascension that doesn't have to fight that image (maybe a contributory reason for the feast's getting increasingly shunted to the nearest Sunday). So, what is cloning - and reproductive technology in general - going to do to ordinary thinking about the Virgin Birth?
