Everybody's Got One
A blog. An opinion. An elimination orifice. A dream. An agenda. A past. A hidden talent. A conceptual filter. A cross. A charism (often the same). A task. A wound. A destiny. A lost love. A blind spot. A bad habit. A secret. A passion. A soul ... okay, maybe not everybody ...

I don't often agree with Rick Santorum, but on this I think he's got it right: "Anybody who wasn't convinced [of the Iraqi threat by the SOTU], can't be convinced."

When minds are set in concrete, there's very little point in two sides continuing to talk past each other. (Unless talking past the other side is the point.) The next time someone asks, Where's the proof?, ask yourself (or them) what exactly might constitute sufficient proof, for them, to change their position.

There'll be proof enough for all, thirty days after the liberation of Baghdad.
