Everybody's Got One
A blog. An opinion. An elimination orifice. A dream. An agenda. A past. A hidden talent. A conceptual filter. A cross. A charism (often the same). A task. A wound. A destiny. A lost love. A blind spot. A bad habit. A secret. A passion. A soul ... okay, maybe not everybody ...

"Power corrupts, but so does weakness," said Josef Joffe, editor of Germany's Die Zeit newspaper. "And absolute weakness corrupts absolutely."

So quotes Tom Friedman in a post-Davos column. He - and Joffe - are referring to Europeans, but Europeans are only relatively weak. Arab culture, on the other hand, is absolutely weak in global and civilizational terms - and so utterly corrupt that it considers the deliberate slaughter of civilians a legitimate war tactic, and reflexively rejoices in the tragedies of others.

Arabo delenda est.
