Everybody's Got One
A blog. An opinion. An elimination orifice. A dream. An agenda. A past. A hidden talent. A conceptual filter. A cross. A charism (often the same). A task. A wound. A destiny. A lost love. A blind spot. A bad habit. A secret. A passion. A soul ... okay, maybe not everybody ...

All this week, the readings have been from the common, not the weekly calendar, for Bl. Kateri, Bonaventure, OL of Carmel. Valuable, but in clusters like this you can lose the flow of a story. When last we left the Penteteuch on Saturday, Jacob had just died in Goshen, reunited with Joseph. Today, Moses (full grown, exiled, married) gets his assignment to go back to Pharaoh and negotiate the release.

A bit of a jump-cut, that.
